What standard do you use to evaluate your integrity? (149-4)

With God’s help every Christian leader can find a life of integrity. Read Isaiah 6:1-7.

When the prophet Isaiah had a vision of God’s glorious and awesome nature, he was overwhelmed by the holiness of God. He cried out “Woe to me! I am ruined! I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips…” Isaiah was a priest and prophet before this experience with God and probably thought, like most of us, that he was a man of integrity. This experience with God gave him a reference point that allowed him to see his integrity against God who is the standard for integrity. At the moment Isaiah caught a glimpse of true holiness and integrity, he realized he was not nearly as close to perfection as he had once thought.
