God’s example helps leaders know when to work and when to rest. Read Genesis 2:1-3.
By His very nature, God does not get tired so when he established a time on the seventh day to rest, it wasn’t to recover physically or emotionally from hard work. God had been fully absorbed in the work of creation and yet when He saw the work was complete “He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.” God rested to establish the example of rest and an example of taking a moment to appreciate a job well done.

God is the ultimate leader and the obvious place to start when looking at elements of individual leadership. Read Genesis 1:1-31.
God initiated the creation of the universe. He made something from nothing. God demonstrated the use of a step-by-step process over a period of time to bring order out of disorder. Because the process took six days to complete doesn’t mean God did not have an end in mind when He started the project. Being God, He could have jumped over the process to the end product in an instant but He chose to utilize a specific process.
