Is justice part of your value system? (152-5)
Every effective leader has justice as part of their value system. Read Isaiah 30:18.
When God shows compassion and justice He is simply being Himself. God’s passion for justice is a component of His moral perfection. God’s loathing for injustice is a component of His opposition to the destructive effect of unrighteousness. Anything contrary to the character of God always leads to the pain and degradation of injustice toward others.

Would your team say your leadership is just and fair? (150-4)
Godly leaders, who have authority over others, understand the need for justice in their decisions and actions. Read Isaiah 10:1-4.
Isaiah conveys God’s word and presents a serious admonition to leaders who treat followers unjustly. God’s stern condemnation stands as a severe warning to oppressive and unjust leaders; He is pictured in verse four with His hand raised up to deliver His judgment on such leaders.

Can you say in total confidence that you are always just and fair? (148-3)
A Christian leader’s influence must be applied toward creating a climate of justice. Read Isaiah 1:21-23.
God demanded that the leaders of the city of Jerusalem restore a just and fair society. His charge was that a city once full of justice and righteousness was now full of murderers. The rulers were companions of thieves, loved bribes and chased after gifts while ignoring those in society that needed special help.

Are you just and fair with those on your team? (130-1)
Throughout history and in every culture wise leaders have universally recognized the virtue of justice and the treachery of injustice. Read Psalm 140:12-13.
Psalm 140 acknowledges that the character of God is the absolute standard for justice. A leader’s ability to have awareness of this moral standard is part of our having been created in the image of God.
Do you have difficulty exhorting your team? (124-2)
Godly leaders strive to be just and fair but, as the ultimate leader, when God enters a situation He brings perspective and exhortation that is truth. Read Job 38:1-39:30.
Job was in a desperate situation physically and emotionally. He was discouraged from his verbal exchanges with his friends concerning the “why” of his situation. Job had gone so far as to justify himself before God and his friends by saying things such as he had made and kept a covenant before God not to look lustfully on a girl, he had never let the poor or underprivileged go with out help, and he had never rejoiced at his enemies misfortune. He was very close to stepping over a line to say God had unjustly allowed him to be in this desperate situation.
